Climate Change Champions for Wales

Climate Change Champions for Wales

Wales' Climate Change Champions 2010

Each year between 2008 and 2012, we held a competition for young people. The winners became Wales' Climate Change Champions for a year.

Climate Change Champions spread the word about how people can take simple steps to reduce their carbon footprints. They used their influence to persuade friends, families and the wider community to do their bit to tackle climate change.

They spoke to lots of people and groups throughout Wales about the small things that everyone can all do to reduce our carbon footprint.

They attended events, talked to the media and wrote columns in their local newspapers to raise awareness of things we can do to reduce climate change.
